The 2012 Program
In addition to the two-day Los Angeles event each year, The Reel Thing is held in conjunction with the AMIA Annual Conference.
The 2012 Los Angeles program included a Tribute to the Nicholas Brothers, sessions that included LTO tapes for archiving digital content, easy and affordable 35mm desktop printers, the restoration of Heaven’s Gate, the restoration of Yellow Submarine, and premiere screenings of restorations such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and An Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion.
